Hello AYSO parent!!

My name is <coach full name> and I volunteered to coach our AYSO soccer team this year. My <son/daughter> <child's first name> is on the team and we look forward to meeting you and your player.

I’d like to have our team meeting on <day, date, time> at <location, address>. This is a super place for a meeting with picnic tables where we can chat and lots of playground toys to keep all your kids occupied.

I’m busy with work as I’m sure you are, but happy to step up and coach our team.

Please help me by contributing some of your time – We need an assistant coach (if I’m gone), a referee, team manager, and volunteers for other Region needs (snack shack, set-up, tear-down, parking lot monitoring, etc.).

Please consider becoming a referee – I’ve taken the ref class and it’s learning some simple soccer rules and moving around the field a bit.
These positions won’t take much of your time, and if you step up it makes my and my <wife/husband> <spouse name>’s lives much easier!! Plus we never have to sell candy or promotions !!

We do need a team sponsor ($100) if you have any ideas.

I will find out on July 24 when our practices will be, and I will tell you at the meeting. And we’ll talk about practice and game behavior guidelines (for players and spectators !) so you know what to expect.
